Attending trade shows is a great way for food, beverage, wellness, and consumer packaged goods companies to build their industry connections.
Trade shows bring brand owners together in one place with ingredient and packaging suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, sales brokers, industry experts and retail chain representatives.
Caitlyn Vanderhaeghe, President and CEO of KidStar Nutrients and a Venturepark Labs Accelerator alumni shares her insights:
"Trade shows can be beneficial for brands to exhibit and attend in a variety of ways. Depending on the trade show, brands are often given the opportunity to showcase, educate, pitch and
demonstrate their products to buyers and the end users
(consumers). Although trade shows can come with a hefty price tag and a lot of preparation, the face to face interactions and connections made are priceless. Being selective in the trade shows that your company participates in is critical for having a strong return on your investment."
